TERMS

I can draw:

  • Humans

  • Anthros/furries

  • Cartoons from any fandom

  • Quadrupeds

  • Ponies

  • Closed species/adopts

  • Monsters

  • Robots/Mecha

  • Fantasy creatures

  • Object heads

  • Aliens

  • OCs and fan characters

  • OCxCanon

  • Blood and wounds

I won't draw:

  • Explicitly sexual scenes

  • Bigotted & Offensive Material (racist, homophobic, transphobic, pedophilia etc)

  • Underage x Adult ships

  • Self-insert x Canon a la you are an adult and the character is a minor

I will charge extra for:

  • Complex machinery

  • Complex weapons

  • Complex patterns and overall design

FINE PRINT

  • Please allow me up to one month to complete your commission.

  • I have the right to decline a commission for any reason.

  • I have the right to cancel a commission at any time for any reason prior to starting work on a commission & a full refund will be issued if I cancel a commission before starting.

  • If you need to cancel a commission at any time, please let me know asap.

  • Chargebacks of any type will result in a permanent ban from all future commissions.

  • An additional automatic 4.0% tax will be added to all invoices in order to cover transaction fees.

  • If I contact you upon starting your commission to accept payment and you fail to respond with payment within 2 weeks of the payment request, you forfeit your commission slot.

  • Commissions must be paid up-front, in full before I start your commission, with the exception of orders over $100 having the option to pay in partial payments at your request.

  • If you cancel your commission after a substantial amount of work has been completed after receiving payment, you will be given a refund proportional to the amount of work not yet completed. All files will be given to the commissioner upon cancellation.

  • I will communicate with you regularly; do not bombard me with daily update requests. You as a commissioner are at least entitled to a weekly update upon starting your commission. Consistent bombardment will lead to cancellation as per my rules.

  • Abusive behavior towards me will result in immediate cancellation of your commission and a permanent ban from all future commissions.

  • I will not allow extreme changes to be made to the commission after getting to the lineart and coloring stages (different composition, entirely new backgrounds, changes in character posing, etc), please stick to your original description and be sure to make any notes as I send you progress during the sketch phase to ensure that you are happy! Feel free to inquire about small changes as we go along.

ORDERING

  • Header: Commission Request - [name or username]

  • Social media

  • Commission type

  • Props, additional characters, included background, etc

  • Any deadline requirements

  • Preferred dimensions of your piece if any

  • A good description of what your character(s) is/are doing. I will not work with a commission that prefers artistic freedom, as brainstorming is more work for me and could potentially lead to clients’ dissatisfaction. Please also include your character's names in the description and their personality! Including time of day of your commission is also helpful!

  • Proper references for the characters. These are required. References for the composition, background, or character posing of what you have in your head is also extremely helpful! This can include stock photos, thumbnails, photography, or a sketch/doodle of your own.

Pricing: “What am I paying for?”
A high-res .PNG file of your commission, additional versions that come with your commission type or any other backdrop versions per your request, and the original .PSD file containing all layers used to create your commission.You are also paying for work from a currently freelancing professional storyboard artist with 15 years worth of self-taught skill, and a bachelors in animation.I live in California, USA where minimum wage is $16.50 per hour and just a single 1-bedroom studio apartment costs $2000/mo. My rates are a mix of that wage based on approximate hours spent on a piece, what is needed to survive in my state, and what I believe my skills are worth.As I enjoy partaking in the commissioners community, my prices do fit that niche, but please consider that real-world illustrators' prices go into the thousands.Patreon
